Hard to believe it has been two months since I posted anything here. I guess that means I have been busy. Work has been really busy. I did get my Epic OpTime program certification and my graduate project done so nice to have that taken care of and get on with the real work of building our system for PeaceHealth.
Bill and his friend, Jim West, are going to be participating in a fundraising competition for The Children's Center called Glamorous Gams2. They had a great photoshoot for the promotion of their team. Hoping that they can raise a lot of money for this worthy organization.
They also worked on a video to promote their campaign. Here is the website for their video. The Blues Brothers.
Tom got to Wichita just before New Years. He stayed with someone he
went to college with for a few weeks until he could find a house for himself
and Maddy to move into. Maddy arrived just in time to go to his
Squadron Hail and Farewell to meet some of the other wives and
girlfriends. They have a tradition in that squadron for wearing funny
helmets.
We had so much fun hosting a Super Bowl party last year that we decided to do it again this year. Since the Seahawks were playing in it this year--it was especially fun to watch it even though it was a very good game score-wise. And with our new TV, it was a really enjoyable viewing experience. We invited a few more people to join us making it a really nice gathering and more than enough food with what everyone brought with them.
I found this great scrapbooking kit that had the Seahawk and Bronco colors and sayings. It is funny because those of us at the party that were most interested in the game were Andie, Julie and me. So I especially loved the "Yes. I'm a girl and I speak football" bubble. And the "I'm just here for the food" really fit the guys at the party. Jeff is obviously stuck in the '60's and '70's with Johnny Unitas being his only "football knowledge". We got to have some birthday cake to celebrate his birthday as well.
Chris is back in Bellingham for school. I enjoy reading his posts on Facebook to see what is going on in his life and what he is thinking about. I loved seeing this picture of him with some of his friends on a bowling outing a few weeks ago.
Tom had an interesting day at work Friday. He had a mission to refuel the Thunderbirds as they flew across the country. He was so excited about it. And he got some great pictures.
So hopefully those who come to visit me haven't given up on me and will come back to visit. I'll try to be better at keeping up.
